Vanessa Hays is the Family Services Program Manager for Wild Iris and CASA of the Eastern Sierra. She has been working in the field of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault since 2005 and has also worked in the fields of children’s mental health and suicide prevention. She has extensive training in the effects of trauma on human development and working with survivors of trauma. She was born and raised in Kansas, and she graduated from the University of Kansas with a BA in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies in 2005 and with a master’s degree in Social Welfare in 2010. She has an associate clinical social work license and is working toward clinical licensure. Vanessa and her partner moved to the Eastern Sierra in 2019.
