Tanya Kimbrel is the CASA Coordinator for CASA of the Eastern Sierra.

Tanya was born, raised, and currently resides in Bishop with her husband and four daughters in the beautiful town of Bishop. She and her family enjoy many of the wonderful recreational opportunities the valley has to offer.

Her background is in the legal field, she has spent many years learning the ins and outs of the criminal justice system and received her paralegal certification through The Center for Advanced Legal Studies. Most recently she has worked as a Registered Behavioral Therapist focusing on children with autism and Down Syndrome. Through these two experiences, she found a passion in helping children and also the court systems, making CASA the perfect blend for her.

Tanya is excited to join the team at CASA. The opportunity build the program into something with a bigger reach and impact throughout the Eastern Sierra, joining the rest of the community partners, and continuing to bring awareness to Child Abuse Prevention.

She is looking forward to this challenge and to make a difference in the lives of children who have faced abuse, neglect, or are involved in the juvenile justice system.
