Tanya Kimbrel is the CASA Coordinator for CASA of the Eastern Sierra.
Tanya was born and raised in the beautiful town of Bishop and enjoys many of the wonderful recreational opportunities the valley has to offer and currently resides in Bishop with her husband and four daughters.
Her background is in the legal field and has spent many years learning the ins and outs of the criminal justice system, she received her paralegal certification through The Center for Advanced Legal Studies. Most recently she has worked as a Registered Behavioral Therapist focusing on behaviors of children with autism. Through these two experiences, she found a passion in helping children and also the court systems, CASA is the perfect blend for her.
Tanya is excited to join the team at CASA to build the program into something with a bigger reach and impact throughout the Eastern Sierra, joining the rest of the community partners, and continuing to bring awareness to Child Abuse Prevention.
She is looking forward to this new challenge and to make a difference in the lives of children who have faced abuse, neglect, or are involved in the juvenile justice system.
